Our goal is to create an environment where we all win with precision.<h3>Job Description</h3>Your CareerThe Cloud Management Platform is a public cloud delivered management platform to manage all Palo Alto Networks Next generation network security solutions. Its an easy-to-use, scalable and secure platform to operationalize complex deployments using the Palo Alto Networks network security portfolio. You will work in a team of highly motivated engineers building a highly scalable and secure multi-tenant public cloud solution to manage network and security configuration and operational data of the customer as well as manage devices in physical, virtual or container form factors. We are looking for passionate engineers that can code and build great products as well as leaders that can own and deliver. Collaboration and teamwork are at the foundation of our culture and we need engineers who can communicate at a high level and work well with others towards achieving a common goal. This role is located at our dynamic Santa Clara California headquarters campus, and in office 3 days a week. Not a remote opportunity. Your Impact<ul><li>Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications delivering high-availability and performance</li><li>Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle</li><li>Write well designed, testable, efficient code</li><li>Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications</li><li>Prepare and produce releases of software components</li><li>Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review</li><li>Communicate with devops and cross functional team to deliver the project smoothly</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Your Experience <ul><li>8+ years experience design develop and deliver services at scale</li><li>Experience/Familiar with GoLang is strongly preferred. Python</li><li>Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.</li><li>Ability to think abstractly and solve complex problems</li><li>Understanding and previous experience implementing authentication schemes such as OAuth2, SAML</li><li>Must Have Advance knowledge of  any server side programming language.  Javascript(ES6), Node JS is preferred.</li><li>Ability to quickly learn and understand complex APIs - REST, streaming, webhooks</li><li>Knowledge of SQL &amp; NoSQL (including mysql &amp; dynamodb) and strong database modeling skills</li><li>Experience with queueing/pub-sub technologies (Redis, RabbitMQ etc)</li><li>Familiar with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes , Git is preferred</li><li>Familiar with Micro Service  architecture is preferred.</li><li>Familiar with typescript,  express or Hapijs is preferred.</li><li>Deep understanding of code vulnerablities (security issues, type-safe code,  sql injections, XSS etc.)</li><li>BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent military experience required</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>The TeamOur engineering team is at the core of our products – connected directly to the mission of preventing cyberattacks. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between:   $147000/YR - $220,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
