As a Procurement Contract Specialist on the legal team, you will provide critical support to our team by owning the drafting and negotiating process of in-bound and out-bound contracts with Palantir vendors.  As a Procurement Contract Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact responsible for contract authoring, redlining, negotiating, and contract closeout, delivering vendor agreements from start to finish working closely with the legal team’s Procurement Counsel. You are a motivated self-starter responsible for most of the contract lifecycle, and will work closely with your various stakeholders both within the legal team and across Palantir to secure the best outcome for the company.  </div><div><br /></div><div>Our ideal candidate proactively and effectively issue spots to streamline the contracting and negotiating process while maintaining meticulously organization to handle a large volume of agreements.  We seek a service-oriented individual who enjoys working collaboratively across an organization to solve problems and will strive to utilize technology and workflows in order to increase efficiency.  </div><h3>Core Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts with Palantir vendors, including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, service and license agreements, subcontractor agreements, and teaming agreements under the direction of Palantir’s legal team.</li><li>Act as functional bridge between the business, the Procurement team, and Procurement Counsel in managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle for all vendor agreements.</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for contract matters, inbound contract-related requests, and non-standard contract term requests.</li><li>Work with Procurement Counsel to establish and maintain internal facing processes to empower business while minimizing legal and commercial risks.</li><li>Manage and maintain Palantir’s form contract repositories.</li><li>Collaborate with business and regulators to demonstrate Palantir’s compliance with laws and regulations related to procurement practices.</li></ul><h3>What We Value</h3><ul><li>Proven ability drafting, negotiating, and managing a variety of contractual agreements, including SaaS, goods, and services agreements.  </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills; aptitude for building strong cross-functional working relationships across a global organization.</li><li>Experience with data privacy and information security agreements.</li><li>Ability to multitask, problem solve, and balance competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.</li><li>Proactive self-starter and willingness to tackle tasks and situations to ensure efficiency in high-pressure, high-volume environments.</li><li>Technical acumen to effectively use contract management tools, streamline processes, and creatively enhance procurement efficiency.</li></ul><h3>What We Require</h3><ul><li>3+ years of end-to-end contract negotiation experience in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience with contract lifecycle management tooling, including procure-to-pay systems.</li></ul><div><b>Salary</b></div><div><br /></div><div><span>The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $90,000 - $110,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus, and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
