You’ll lead our Competitor motion end-to-end, from surfacing intelligence to crafting the narratives, plays, and campaigns that help us outmaneuver competitions and claim territory. This isn’t about keeping tabs on the competition. It’s about systematically outplaying them.You’ll work closely with the wider Product Marketing team, Sales, Revenue Marketing, and Enablement to arm the field and fuel takedown campaigns that convert faster and defend stronger. Your work will directly influence pipeline velocity, win rates, and our ability to own the market conversation.What youll own:Competitive Intelligence &amp; Market Dynamics<ul><li>Build and run a high-impact compete program that track key players and emerging threats</li><li>Monitor competitor moves across product, pricing, GTM, and narrative. Translating noise into actionable signal</li><li>Maintain always-on battlecards, teardowns and segment-specific insights that keep us two steps ahead</li><li>Run competitive debriefs, and brief execs and frontline teams on strategic threats and opportunities</li></ul>Takedown Campaigns &amp; Offensive Plays<ul><li>Partner with Revenue Marketing to design and launch compete-first campaigns</li><li>Influence messaging, content, and targeting for competitive switch, win-back, and disrupt plays</li><li>Create frameworks to scale compete activation across channels, from outbound cadences to demand gen tactics</li></ul> Win/Loss Analysis &amp; Strategic Insights<ul><li>Build a closed-loop win/loss program to diagnose competitive friction points across the funnel</li><li>Turn qualitative and quantitative data into strategic insights that inform GTM, positioning, and product roadmap</li><li>Work with RevOps to track competitive pressure across pipeline and ARR</li></ul>Enablement &amp; Field Activation<ul><li>Arm GTM Enablement to train Sales, SDRs, CS, and other frontline teams on how to dismantle competitor value props and handle objections with confidence</li><li>Deliver play-ready narratives that help the team drive urgency, differentiation, and control the conversation</li><li>Build a compete culture where every team member feels confident going head-to-head</li></ul>Positioning &amp; Narrative<ul><li>Shape and evolve our positioning to double down on our strengths and expose competitor weaknesses</li><li>Partner with wider PMM and Brand teams to ensure our messaging lands clean and hard across all GTM touchpoints</li><li>Influence roadmap decisions by surfacing competitor blind spots and opportunity gaps</li></ul>Wed love to hear from you:<ul><li>4+ years in product marketing, competitive intelligence, or GTM strategy roles in high-growth B2B SaaS</li><li>Proven experience with win/loss analysis, competitor research, and sales enablement</li><li>Strong storytelling and content creation skills, decks, docs, campaigns, and enablement tools</li><li>Bias for action: youre curious, commercially savvy, and thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments</li><li>You can balance short-term GTM firepower with long-term strategic insight, and youre not afraid to make bold calls</li></ul>Everyone is welcome at PaddleAt Paddle, we’re committed to removing invisible barriers, both for our customers and within our own teams.
