As the Sr Manger of Business Planning reporting to the Director of Support Engineering & Intelligence, you will play a crucial leader who translates strategic vision into actionable plans, drives business performance, and ensures long-term success for the organization.

What you will do:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business planning, workforce management & forecasting team. Execute the vision and strategy for the business planning function, aligning with company goals and customer satisfaction objectives. Oversee day-to-day operations, utilizing data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Improving processes, managing budgets, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • OKRs: Track objectives and key results across the MX function and track key progress towards are goals
  • Annual plan: Assist with creation of MX annual planning cycle
  • Budget management: Create and monitor our MX budget making sure we are able to invest strategically and stay under budget
  • Customer Focus & Experience: Drive efforts to improve customer experience through optimal allocation of resources across MX
  • Strategic Planning & Innovation: Execute the long-term vision for the business planning & workforce management team. Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and tool adoption. Collaborate with other departments to align support and operational strategies with business objectives.
  • Business Planning Operations: Leading the development and implementation of strategic plans. Possess and foster deep technical expertise in our support forecasting and BPO staffing operations ensuring we deliver on our SLA goals while staying under budget. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborates with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and ensure successful execution of corporate priorities and key initiatives. Presenting business plans and results to senior management and stakeholders. Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and run stakeholder alignment
  • Continuous Improvement: As a trusted thought partner, this individual helps evaluate operational performance, lead high-impact initiatives, and ensure that organizational goals are on track. 
  • Talent Development: Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, provide mentorship and coaching, and set clear performance expectations.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Analyzing financial data, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present regular reports to executive leadership on MX performance and budget and the main drivers of over/under spend
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • 7+ years of experience in business planning, strategy, or finance, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives 
  • Demonstrated ability of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. 
  • Ability to manage projects, track progress, and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget. 
  • Proven leadership experience in managing business planning teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with business planning tools (Google Sheets, Anaplan, etc)
  • Strong customer service orientation
