About the role: Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. You will also help to support teams across Oscar Medical Group, including Virtual Primary Care and Virtual Urgent Care when needed. This is a part-time, employed role. Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8am - 8pm EST Friday &amp; Saturday 8am - 6pm EST Shift Types: <ul> <li>4hr, 6hr, or 8hr shifts</li> </ul> Start Times: <ul> <li>8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, or 4pm EST</li> </ul> You will report into the Lead APP, Virtual Health Assessment Work Location: Oscar Medical Group is a blended work culture where everyone, regardless of work type or location, feels connected to their teammates, our culture and our mission. You are also eligible for limited benefits, including paid time off.  Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform preventative care screenings, complete medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions and provide health coaching, referrals and treatment when clinically appropriate.</li> <li>Outreach members who are more chronically ill based on historical and suspected health information.</li> <li>Engage members who have a lower probability of seeing their PCP.</li> <li>Identify areas in the members medical journey that can be improved by increasing their access to care with a licensed provider.</li> <li>Cross-train into urgent care and/or virtual primary care service line</li> <li>Interact with members virtually, including virtual assessment, diagnosis and treatment.</li> <li>Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations</li> <li>Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines</li> <li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine</li> <li>MD or DO from an accredited medical school</li> <li>Must be licensed in TN and at least one of the following: MO, GA, PA, MS, AL</li> <li>3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.</li> <li>Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles</li> <li>Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement</li> </ul> Bonus points: <ul> <li>2+ years of Telemedicine experience</li> <li>IMLCC compact Physician license or eligible to apply</li> <li>Fluent in Spanish</li> <li>Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)</li> </ul><div>This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
