About the role: You will deliver quality care to a panel of patients as part of a multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistant in a virtual environment. You will oversee a team of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care to their patients and supporting them in Oscar strategic initiatives. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year and annual performance bonuses. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide direct high quality, safe patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team</li> <li>Provide supervision to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) who are delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional &amp; clinical growth</li> <li>Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed (APPs, RNs, MAs)</li> <li>Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader</li> <li>Conduct quality assurance audits in addition to required state supervisory audit requirements</li> <li>Ensure a culture of patient safety</li> <li>Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients and ensure superior member experience</li> <li>Conduct service recovery needs for Oscar patients</li> <li>Provide growth and development of your team including management of poor performance</li> <li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>MD or DO from an ACGME accredited medical school</li> <li>Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds</li> <li>5+ years of outpatient primary care experience</li> <li>Prior telehealth experience</li> <li>1+ years experience in supervising teams, including other clinical staff</li> <li>Unrestricted license to practice medicine in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC</li> <li>APP supervision experience</li> </ul> Bonus points: <ul> <li>Spanish language fluency</li> <li>Experience being metrics driven in a practice setting as it relates to population health management, quality benchmarks, cost of care, and productivity</li> <li>Six sigma or programmatic management experience</li> </ul><div>This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
