About the role: You will be a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers providing acute care services to Oscar Health members via telemedicine. You are not expected to provide patient care. You will report into the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations</li> <li>Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines</li> <li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>Board-certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine</li> <li>MD or DO from an accredited medical school</li> <li>Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)</li> <li>Must live in Georgia</li> <li>Must have an active state license in Georgia</li> <li>3+ years clinical experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice</li> </ul> Bonus points: <ul> <li>2+ years of Telemedicine experience</li> <li>Fluent in Spanish</li> <li>Must have a compact license or be eligible for IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)</li> <li>Licensed in OMG states: MI, IL, CT, PA, NC, OK, VA, TX, FL, OH</li> </ul><div>This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
