Our commitment to inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, identity, and experience drives us forward every day.</span></p></div><p><strong>Job Details </strong></p> <p>The Insurance Product Forms Manager plays a critical role for Openly, ensuring that the contract language is meeting the needs of customers, is legally defensible and compliant with state regulations.  This person will collaborate across the organization to understand current forms performance, make recommendations for change, and facilitate a team of forms analysts to effect those recommended changes while also supporting broader company initiatives.  This role is one that will balance individual contribution and people leadership.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and develop a high-performing team of forms analysts, including setting direction, coaching, and aligning work to company goals.</li> <li>Improve processes, team structure, and tools to enhance the speed, quality, and compliance of forms development.</li> <li>Maintain the forms version inventory using a forms management system.</li> <li>Stay current on regulatory and industry changes in coverage and forms language; communicate relevant updates to internal teams.</li> <li>Prepare and submit form filings to state Departments of Insurance, ensuring compliance with requirements and managing approval communications.</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Claims, Compliance, and Engineering to develop, revise, and implement forms that meet business needs and regulatory standards.</li> <li>Define forms business requirements, own associated testing and success criteria, and ensure readiness for launch.<br />Lead forms strategy for new product development and enhancements, including research, roadmap ownership, and implementation.</li> <li>Conduct and operationalize competitive and regulatory research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.</li> <li>Support internal audits and market conduct exams related to product forms and ensure documentation is thorough and accurate.</li> <li>Ensure forms support Openly’s customer experience and align with our strategic positioning.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&amp;C) product coverage requirements and development</li> <li>Minimum of 1 year of people leadership experience required </li> <li>Property and Casualty (P&amp;C) regulatory experience and knowledge of state filing requirements</li> <li>Understanding of regulatory requirements related to coverage language and form construction of P&amp;C personal lines products</li> <li>Proficient in conducting regulatory research</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferences</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with forms management tools such as Mozart</li> <li>Related insurance, legal and regulatory certifications and/or degrees</li> <li>Experience with personal property products and personal lines auto</li> </ul><div><div><div><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits:</strong> </p> <p>The <strong>target salary range</strong> represents the budgeted salary range for this position.  Actual compensation for this position will be determined based on the successful candidates experience and skills.
