You will own the design and development of services that deliver critical security insights, from Bot Detection to Breached Credential Protection, and craft the world-class UX that makes this complex data understandable and actionable for our customers. This is an opportunity to solve critical security problems. The ideal candidate has experience designing, building, launching, and supporting security products at scale. As a technical leader on the team, you will tackle our most ambiguous and complex challenges, mentoring other engineers and influencing the product roadmap. You will share our passion for elegant solutions and will join a team that believes in designing for scale, rigorous code reviews, and automated testing to build high-quality enterprise software. What you’ll be doing  <ul> <li>Lead and independently manage the design, development, delivery, and supportability of cloud-native security products - from concept design to final implementation.</li> <li>Cross-group solid collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles, including engineering, product management, design, support, and documentation</li> <li>Commit to high programming standards by reviewing code and writing unit and functional tests.</li> <li>Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring quality, agility, and velocity</li> <li>Mentor, groom, and educate junior engineers</li> <li>Participate in rotations to expeditiously unblock customers and make them successful.</li> </ul> What you’ll bring to the role <ul> <li>6+ years of software development experience building highly-reliable, mission-critical software in an object-oriented language (Java preferred).</li> <li>4+ years of software development experience, with a demonstrated background in both front-end UI stacks (React.js preferred) </li> <li>A proven track record of technical leadership, including experience driving the architecture for microservices at enterprise scale.</li> <li>An excellent grasp of software engineering principles and design patterns.</li> <li>Expertise in creating or extending complex rule-based systems.</li> <li>Experience working with a variety of data stores, including RDBMS and NoSQL databases.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with product management, design, and other engineering teams.</li> </ul> And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!  <ul> <li>Experience building anomaly detection systems or risk systems is a huge plus.</li> <li>Experience in cloud security, identity, and/or authentication protocols</li> <li>Experience decoupling a monolithic application into a microservice architecture.</li> </ul> #BB-1 #LI-Hybrid <div><div><div>Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California.
