Our dynamic Gross Margin team are looking for an Industry Analyst who will be key to our mission of putting a big green dent in the universe. Your ability to understand the ins and outs of industry data versus our own, spot nuances, drive margin improvements, and get excited about tackling settlement costs will be invaluable as we serve over 7 million UK households.</span> </div><h3>What Youll Do:</h3><ul><li>You’ll do this using industry-leading granular data and superb tooling to:</li><div><br /></div><li>Analyse and interpret data to identify gap opportunities that improve commercial performance</li><li>Develop bespoke analysis to support product development alongside our dedicated Data Engineers</li><li>Collaborate with Industry &amp; Billing teams to create solutions that close the gap</li><li>Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations that enable operations to quickly understand complex information and make informed decisions</li><div><br /></div></ul><h3>What Youll Have</h3><ul><li>Must have at least 3 years experience in related roles in the retail energy with industry settlement and data knowledge. </li><li>A specialism in Gas industry knowledge </li><li>Strong analytical skills, commercial interest, and the ability to distinguish between what matters and what doesn’t</li><li>A proficiency or desire to code with SQL (Databricks / Spark). dbt experience is a big plus</li><li>Enjoy developing use cases to solve complex problems iteratively</li><li>Curious about new and complex areas &amp; excited by a fast-paced, dynamic environment</li><li>An interest in storytelling with data, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.</li><div><br /></div><div>We aren’t necessarily looking for someone who is “10-out-of-10” in all these areas; but rather someone who has good experience in most of them, combined with a flexible and enthusiastic approach.</div><div><br /></div><div>Please make sure you answer the short additional questions in the application portal in order to be considered for this role.</div></ul><h3>💚 Why else youll love it here </h3><ul><li><b>💰 Wondering what the salary for this role is? </b>Just ask us!
