If you’re motivated by solving complex challenges, learning quickly, and contributing to a high-performing engineering team, we’d love for you to apply. <hr /> Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain scalable applications that deliver high availability, strong performance, and an exceptional end-user experience.</li> <li>Collaborate on distributed systems architecture, contributing to the design and implementation of microservices, APIs, and data pipelines that support business growth.</li> <li>Develop backend services and APIs, with a preference for Python/Django, ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability at scale.</li> <li>Implement and enhance intuitive, responsive front-end features, ideally using JavaScript and React, to create seamless customer experiences.</li> <li>Work with and improve legacy systems, contributing to modernization initiatives that balance innovation with system stability and long-term supportability.</li> <li>Support infrastructure automation and cloud deployments, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred) and deploying on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).</li> <li>Write automated tests and contribute to code reviews, ensuring high levels of code quality, maintainability, and adherence to engineering best practices.</li> <li>Own the full software development lifecycle by participating in solution design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.</li> <li>Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering growth, upholding coding standards, and encouraging best practices across the team.</li> </ul> <hr /> Requirements:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating a solid foundation in software engineering principles.</li> <li>3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of delivering reliable, scalable applications in production environments.</li> <li>Hands-on experience in backend development, with preference for Python/Django, designing and implementing APIs, services, and business logic.</li> <li>Frontend development expertise, ideally with JavaScript and React, building responsive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance customer experience.</li> <li>Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL), including schema design, query optimization, and API integrations.</li> <li>Knowledge of distributed systems principles, including scalability, consistency, fault tolerance, and event-driven architecture.</li> <li>Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform, along with practical familiarity using cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.</li> <li>Advanced debugging, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities, particularly when working with large, complex, or distributed systems.</li> <li>Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly, mastering new tools, frameworks, and technologies to solve evolving challenges.</li> <li>Proficiency in version control and code repository systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps, with experience in best practices for branching and collaboration.</li> <li>Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, to support cloud-native deployments.</li> </ul> Preferred Skills:  <ul> <li>Experience building or maintaining SaaS platforms at scale, ensuring availability, performance, and multi-tenant efficiency.</li> <li>Familiarity with modern event-streaming and messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) to support real-time data processing and integration.</li> </ul> <hr /> Compensation: In addition to salary, Total Rewards include bonus eligibility, a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below. The role described above offers a base salary of $100,000 to $135,000 + bonus incentive eligibility.
