Your role as the Base OS Engineering Release Lead is to help drive Base OS across multiple programs and products.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with external partners and customers to capture their requests!</p></li><li><p>Partner with Hardware, Software, and Firmware development teams to align on deliverables and priorities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we need to see:</b></p><ul><li><p>BS or Masters in computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.</p></li><li><p>7+ years of experience.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and planning skills.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with at least one major Linux distro (Ubuntu, RedHat, SLES) is required.</p></li><li><p>Experience with complex system-level debugging is invaluable.</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of GPU server architecture.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Ways to stand out from the crowd:</b></p><ul><li><p>Understanding kernel development methodologies is recommended.</p></li><li><p>Experience writing software in GitHub with exposure to opensource development life cycle is desired.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of NVIDIA technologies used within NVIDIA server products is another way to be highlighted.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
