NVIDIA is seeking and experienced Sr. Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) to support NVIDIAs Contract Manufacturers (CM) in North America.. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of our complex AI systems. Your primary responsibility will be to represent all aspects of NVIDIAs AI hardware quality interests. Youll work with teams such as hardware engineering, product engineering, product quality engineering, supplier and commodity management to raise the suppliers quality bar drive continuous improvements. Your duties will encompass:<ul><li>Driving quality improvements through meticulous supplier assessments and audits.</li><li>Collaborating closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with NVIDIAs extraordinary standards.</li><li>Developing and implementing supplier quality metrics to supervise performance.</li><li>Taking charge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address any quality concerns or issues.</li><li>Working with multi-functional engineering teams to resolve and implement quality requirements.</li><li>Offering mentorship, training and support to suppliers to improve their performance.</li><li>Ensuring strict consistency to quality control procedures and regulations.</li></ul>What we need to see:We seek individuals with a demonstrated history in supplier quality engineering. To excel in this position, you should possess:<ul><li>BS or MS degree in mechanical, electrical, material, industrial engineering or a related engineering degree field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>12+ overall years of supplier quality, process quality or customer quality experience in large volume compute system manufacturing for datacenter/server/storage applications with a shown ability to efficiently implement quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Showed proficiency with quality core tools application: 8D, 5-Why, 6S, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma/Lean, CAR, CAPA, PCN, MRB etc.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and confidence communicating complex issues to a technical audience in a succinct and fast action-focused manner.</li><li>Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001.</li><li>Outstanding problem-solving skills.</li></ul>Ways to stand out from the crowd:<ul><li>Thrive in a fast moving, daring and highly multi-functional environment.</li><li>Tight-knit collaboration experience and leading by example.</li><li>A track record of strong ownership for complex quality issues.</li><li>Experience with US-based compute system manufacturing supply chains</li><li>Self-motivated, self-managed, with a passion for innovative AI technology and manufacturing.</li></ul>At NVIDIA, we see our people as our most precious asset.
