This role involves building next-generation boards and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to develop functional test hardware solutions.Responsibilities include developing and optimizing manufacturing testing for baseboards and systems, validating tester platforms with functional teams, defining validation plans, and automating test infrastructure configurations. Additionally, the role involves identifying and resolving manufacturing process issues with CM factories. If youre interested in contributing to the next era of computing, please apply.This role requires a 100% on-site presence and must be based in our Houston, TX manufacturing site. What you will be doing:<ul><li>Oversee the production of functional test hardware solutions with functional teams, from design and development to validation and implementation.</li><li>Coordinate the mechanical and thermal solutions for new test platforms and future products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Assess the test platform for new products in the QT line and facilitate a swift transition to overseas production.</li><li>Enhance the manufacturing testing process with collaboration from CMs and global teams.</li><li>Technically coordinate test fixture and platform automation with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and the global team.</li><li>Provide detailed procedures, documents, and technical support as needed.</li></ul>What we need to see:<ul><li>Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or related fields/equivalent experience.</li><li>5+ years of experience.</li><li>Extensive experience and expertise in functional test hardware, including design, development, validation, and implementation.</li><li>Experience in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of functional test hardware for production.</li><li>Strong knowledge of board manufacturing flow, proven test hardware capabilities, and extensive experience with successful results.</li><li>Expert communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.</li><li>Strong teamwork abilities, excellent analytical skills, and good work habits are essential.</li><li>Independent and capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.</li></ul>With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
