NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Ethernet Networking engineer to join its Infrastructure Specialists team. Academic and commercial groups worldwide are using NVIDIA products to redefine deep learning, data analytics, and power data centers. As a key member of the NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists Solution Architecture team, your role involves spearheading the conception, development, and execution of ground-breaking data center networks for NVIDIA customers under the Plan, Design, &amp; Implement (PDI) framework. You will play a crucial role in advancing comprehensive technology solutions for our strategic clientele in web2.0, cloud, HPC AI, and enterprise datacenter domains. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying areas for improvement in business technology, providing valuable insights, and furnishing recommendations to both marketing and engineering teams to improve our overall product strategy.What youll be doing:<ul><li>Providing Ethernet and routing expertise to customers during project delivery to design, architect and test Ethernet networking solutions.</li><li>Work on multi-functional teams to provide Ethernet network expertise to server infrastructure builds, accelerated computing workloads and GPU enabled AI applications.</li><li>Crafting and evaluating DevOps automation scripts for network operations, crafting network architectures, and developing switch fabric configurations.</li><li>Implementing tasks related to network configuration and validation for data centers.</li><li>Create Methods of Procedure and deployment documents.</li><li>Use software tools to validate and monitor network performance.</li></ul>What we need to see:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics or equivalent experience.</li><li>6+ years of proficiency in networking fundamentals, Switching, Routing, TCP/IP, and data center architecture.</li><li>Strong Routing hands-on experience including BGP, VxLAN and EVPN (5+ years)</li><li>Engages with clients for network requirement analysis, designs next-gen data center network architectures, and validates functionality through simulations. (5+ years)</li><li>Plays a pivotal role in automation, delivering fully automated network provisioning solutions using Ansible, Salt, and Python. (5+ years)</li><li>Provides ad-hoc knowledge transfers, develops handover materials, and offers deployment support for engagements. (5+ years)</li><li>Background in datacenter engineering, networking architecture, or cloud applications is advantageous.</li><li>Requires understanding of system-level issues, Linux OS, kernel drivers, PCIe devices, and computer hardware architecture.</li><li>Values familiarity with NetDevOps workflows, automation, infrastructure-as-code, digital simulation, continuous integration/deployment, and automated validation.</li><li>Proactive individual with the ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks to optimize technology and enhance customer experience.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills for technical presentations, architectural designs, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers.
