This full-time Account Manager position will focus on top research universities and institutes in the Midwest developing the relationships and driving revenue. If you are creative, driven, and excited by the prospect of enabling groundbreaking science with world-changing technology, we want to hear from you!What Youll Be Doing:<ul><li>Responsible for all aspects of account strategy creation and implementation, forecasting, sales account management, research engagement to a select number of large university customers in the territory</li><li>Be the key point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of university customers</li><li>Build key accounts into strategic partners, and drive sustaining revenue, market share growth and product footprint</li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor to universities, communicating NVIDIAs vision, technology, and research impact. Develop relationships with senior university leaders to align NVIDIAs platform with institutional research priorities and drive large-scale adoption.</li><li>Forge strong connections with leading research labs and Principal Investigators across diverse scientific domains (e.g., AI/ML, life sciences, physical sciences, climate science, engineering, etc). Understand their grand challenges and explore how NVIDIAs platform and expertise can accelerate their discovery process and scientific outcomes.</li><li>Contributing to the long-term success of the Higher Education and Research (HER) vertical by being a collaborative leader amongst your peers</li><li>Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving HER landscape, scientific trends in key domains, and the capabilities of NVIDIAs full technology stack</li><li>Ability to travel 20% or more as needed</li></ul>What We Need to See:<ul><li>BS degree, or equivalent experience, and a demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning</li><li>10+ years experience selling to senior executives, research principal investigators and IT at leading research universities</li><li>A genuine passion for science, technology, and the mission of accelerating research</li><li>High energy, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment</li><li>Existing relationships in the target Universities</li><li>A real passion for getting things done in a dynamic sales and technology environment</li><li>Demonstrated track record leading significant revenue opportunities and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals</li><li>Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally</li><li>Strong communication, presentation and business acumen</li><li>Located in the Midwest</li></ul>NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. If you are the right fit for this role, we want to hear from you! Your cash compensation will be determined based on your location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions with 85% paid through base salary and 15% variable compensation.
