Reporting to our <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/julia-rayis-51085547/">VP, Payer Strategy</a>, you’ll lead high-impact initiatives across pricing, reimbursement, value-based care strategy, and launching new products—working closely with Nourish leadership and senior leaders at the country’s largest payers. Your work will be instrumental in creating long-term revenue opportunities for Nourish across existing and new products, and will shape the future of how payers invest in nutrition.</p> <p>This is a full-time, NYC-based role (3–4 days/week in our Gramercy office, with some remote flexibility).</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Drive our contracting strategy and execution:</strong> Support negotiations with payers, lead our renegotiation approach, and ensure Nourish’s contracts are structured to maximize both growth and sustainability.</li> <li><strong>Own our pricing strategy and analytics:</strong> Maintain and improve our pricing model, track and project reimbursement rates, and regularly report insights and recommendations to leadership.</li> <li><strong>Lead our value-based care strategy:</strong> Develop and refine approaches for alternative payment models and support our Payer Partnerships team in executing against these opportunities.</li> <li><strong>Operationalize payer relationships:</strong> Collaborate closely with RCM, Credentialing, and EPD to ensure contracts are implemented cleanly and our teams can execute effectively.</li> <li><strong>Commercialize new bets:</strong> Define the contracting and pricing strategy for emerging products and ensure they’re ready to scale with payers.</li> <li><strong>Partner cross-functionally:</strong> Partner with teams across Nourish (e.g., Strategic Finance, Partnerships, Clinical Operations, Business Operations) to align on goals, pressure-test assumptions, and deliver on key initiatives.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>We’d love to hear from you if:</strong></h3> <ul> <li> You have <strong>3-5 years of experience</strong>, ideally combining time in consulting, banking, or investing <em>and</em> strategy, operations, or product roles at a high-growth startup. <ul> <li>Bonus points if you have a <strong>passion for healthcare or nutrition,</strong> and/or have experience in the industry.</li> </ul> </li> <li>You’re a <strong>first-principles thinker</strong> who loves breaking down ambiguous problems and designing solutions tailored to the business context.</li> <li>You’re a <strong>systems-minded problem solver</strong> who enjoys untangling messy workflows and turning them into scalable, tech-enabled systems.</li> <li>You’re highly <strong>analytical</strong>, comfortable building analyses from scratch and cutting data to tell a clear story.
