This role will interact with vendor managers at the Business Unit level as well as other internal teams involved in the TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) program. Will lead activities such as formulating goals, objectives, and timelines; will collaborate with management to understand requirements; and will analyze market and industry conditions. The key responsibilities of the role include; <ul><li>Facilitate meetings with assigned region vendor managers on all aspects of the TPRM program and consult on required templates/documents</li><li>Track, follow up, and monitor timely completion of the required TPRM documents by regional BU vendor managers</li><li>Conduct periodic training sessions to assigned region BU vendor managers on the requirements and changes to the NT TPRM program</li><li>Perform Quality Control/Audits (QC/A) and activities required for review &amp; approval by either internal to the team or by the TPRM program</li><li>Assist with resolving regional escalated issues and monitor timely resolution by BU vendor managers</li><li>Perform reporting to BU Senior Management and other NT internal groups on the status, issues and risks of the program for the assigned region.</li><li>Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions</li><li>Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives</li></ul> Skills/Experience<ul><li>previous experience of either sourcing/procurement, vendor management; third-party oversight experience with a large financial institution</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; experience building project teams and functioning as a resource for colleagues with less experience.</li><li>Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines; understands how own area integrates with others.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; explains difficult or sensitive information in a manner that aligns with audience; skilled at building consensus with stakeholders.</li><li>Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to generate complex reports.</li><li>Highly flexible and adaptable to change in a high demand environment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as data analytic tools including PowerBI.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>Working with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
