By proactively profiling data and validating mappings, they empower teams to make confident, data-driven decisions, foster trust in analytics outputs, and enable seamless access to accurate, actionable information throughout the asset management landscape.<div>Roles and ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead, mentor, and support a team of data analysts in India, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.</li><li>Use domain knowledge to understand data, produce specs and work on the entire data life cycle</li><li>Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for asset management data with an understanding of end to end flows</li><li>Remain hands-on with data analysis and visualization, championing best practices and ensuring high-quality delivery.</li><li>Collaborate closely with product and technology partners to build a unified, high-impact function.</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive data profiling, mapping, and validation to deepen understanding of organizational data assets.</li><li>Ensure the integrity and reliability of datasets across the entire organization, enabling trustworthy analytics outcomes.</li></ul>Role Requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience in data analytics within asset management.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing data analyst teams.</li><li>Hands-on expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools (such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).</li><li>Strong understanding of asset management products, operations, and data management practices.</li><li>Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into working solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li>Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative working environment.</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS<div>EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION</div><ul><li>10+ years of experience in Data</li><li>5+ in Asset Management is a must</li><li>Strong SQL skills and experience with data management</li><li>Strong MS excel skills</li><li>Experience in data sourcing and understanding of the third party datasets available in the investments space</li><li>Bachelors degree in field like Math, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance (with focus on analysis), etc.; MBA or Masters in related field preferred but not required.</li></ul></div>Working with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
