<p></p><p><b>Shift: </b></p><ul><li><p>5:30pm – 5:30am (Every other Mon) &amp;  Tues – Thurs</p></li></ul><p></p><h1>Who We Are Looking For</h1><p>As a Maintenance Point Guard, I (Senior Maintenance Technician), you will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and repairing machinery and building systems efficiently to ensure minimal downtime. You will work in a climate-controlled environment where safety is prioritized.</p><h2></h2><h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Identify defects and perform repairs on industrial equipment using extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot automated controls, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).</li><li>Conduct electrical safety checks and repairs on both AC systems (up to 3-phase 480V) and DC systems.</li><li>Replace components such as drives, motors, pumps, heaters, switches, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) panels.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety standards throughout maintenance activities.</li><li>Monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and report any unplanned equipment or process malfunctions.</li><li>Support Control Room and Maintenance Storeroom operations and perform tasks such as fabrication utilizing cut and weld equipment.</li><li>Clean up worksite locations in the shop and on the Distribution Center (DC) floor after repairs are completed.</li><li>Track maintenance schedules, hours, spare parts consumption, and warranty information.</li><li>Perform administrative tasks to support maintenance record keeping in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and manage spare parts storeroom locations.</li><li>Work with contractors, equipment rental vendors, and specialized MHE trades as necessary.</li><li>Participate in safety training, advanced skills training, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure all work is completed following appropriate safety guidelines.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Skills and Qualifications</h2><p>Required:</p><ul><li>Minimum of three years experience as a Maintenance Technician.</li><li>Post high school technical/vocational education or military training in industrial maintenance technology and electrical systems.</li><li>Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and MHE systems.</li><li>Ability to handle complex repairs with minimal supervision and train others as needed.</li><li>Prior industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing.</li><li>Experience troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs.</li><li>Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical component repairs and PLC diagnostics.</li><li>Strong mechanical skills in industrial settings.</li><li>Familiarity with industry-standard safety protocols and industrial maintenance practices.</li></ul><p>Preferred :</p><ul><li>Preferred education: Associate of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.</li><li>Targeted certifications may be required, with skillsets in one or more of the following:</li></ul><p>Industrial Electrician</p><p>VFD and Control Systems Maintenance &amp; Troubleshooting (Allen Bradley – Siemens)</p><p>CMMS Administration, Maintenance Planning, and Storeroom Management</p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
