This role will collaborate with engineers, designers, and researchers to ensure that algorithms serve the athlete, and provide technical leadership of a team of algorithms, controls, and firmware engineers to support magical product experiences. </div><div> </div><div>WHAT YOU BRING </div><div><ul><li>Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, or training </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>MS in engineering or computer science with 10+ years of experience; PhD with 7+ years of experience. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven experience in signal processing, pattern recognition, machine learning, classification, and other areas of machine intelligence. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with embedded sensor systems and microcontrollers, and deploying algorithms as real-time firmware in C. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with MATLAB and Python and machine learning frameworks. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with high-level “non-classical” control algorithms &amp; techniques (MPC, LQR, Kalman filtering, etc.) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Technical leadership around efficient implementation of sensor primitive algorithms. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Technical leadership around architecture and implementation of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models of athlete performance. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Technical project management and planning, including creation of requirements, constraints, timelines, and methods to manage risk. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with human subject testing, data collection, real-time performance tracking. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Expertise in mechanics, biomechanics, human locomotion, kinematics and dynamics a plus. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Expertise in electromechanical control: sensors, filtering, and motor control a plus. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Positive energy, curiosity, and a passion for building magical products that users love. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong technical savvy and understanding/curiosity about emerging innovative technologies. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous learning is core to our identity. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Willingness to roll up your sleeves to win as a team. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON  As a Principal Algorithms Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the execution of our powered athlete product roadmap.
