<h3>Company Description</h3>R25_0017415<h3>Job Description</h3>POSITION OVERVIEW:As a Global Category Specialist Tech &amp; IT at NIQ, you will support development and implementation of global category and subcategory strategies in collaboration with the Global Procurement Director Tech &amp; IT, CTO Direct reports, and business stakeholders. This position will manage and lead global category initiatives and projects. You will lead contract negotiations, specification definition, monitor supplier performance, specification development and demand management, support development of innovation programs, manage supplier risks and conduct regular business reviews.Key Responsibilities:Tech &amp; IT Category Sourcing Plan <ul><li>Support in analysis of supply market, understanding product/services being purchase within category, internal demand/specification, and internal best practices</li><li>Identify and analyze strategic sourcing options under the guidance of the Global Category Director</li><li>Run and support tender process, including seeking approvals from Global Category Director, SVP Global Procurement and other internal stakeholders as required</li><li>Challenge and provide options on current working practices, specifications and demands for category</li><li>Harmonize specification(s) with business stakeholders to standardize demand </li></ul>Contract Development <ul><li>Create negotiation plan and support Global Category Director with supplier negotiations</li><li>Ensure adherence to signing authorities</li><li>Communicate contracts to relevant stakeholders</li></ul>Supplier Development <ul><li>Manage relationship with preferred suppliers</li><li>Support Global Category Director with regular performance reviews of preferred suppliers</li><li>Support actions on continuous improvement plan with preferred suppliers</li><li>Support development of alternative suppliers</li><li>Support development and implementation of contract KPI’s</li></ul>Contract Lifecycle Management<ul><li>Lead contract drafting, reviews, proactive contract renewals, ensure contracts are updated in the system</li><li>Conduct supplier compliance reviews (i.e. use of supplier within sites, payment terms in the system)</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Bachelors degree in Technical Business Administration or related subjects or relevant work experience</li><li>Experience: 5+ years of experience in Global procurement role with a focus on Tech &amp; IT Category</li><li>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Understanding of technologies and solutions</li><li>Understanding of key sourcing processes and tools as well as contractual and legal aspects</li></ul></li><li>Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and persuasively.</li><li>Stakeholder Management: Experience in internal and external stakeholder relations management.</li></ul> A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU<ul><li>Highly motivated, self-directed, pro-active &amp; possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines or an agile environment</li><li>Ability to analyze and interpret information in a challenging and insightful manner.</li><li>Unflagging attention to detail &amp; demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of the information</li><li>Resourceful, inquisitive, and excited about innovative technologies</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation</li><li>Strong and articulate verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>US Benefits<ul><li>Comprehensive healthcare plan (medical, Rx, dental, and vision).</li><li>Flexible spending accounts and a Health Savings Account (including company contributions).</li><li>Life and AD&amp;D insurance.</li><li>401(k) retirement plan including company matching contributions.</li><li>Disability insurance.</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement.</li><li>Discretionary paid time off program and 11 paid holidays.</li><li>Flexible working environment</li><li>Volunteer time off</li><li>LinkedIn Learning</li><li>Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP)</li></ul>This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $110,000 -$110,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
