Job Description
Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and strategic-minded AI Enablement and Governance Specialist to lead the integration, oversight, and ethical management of artificial intelligence systems across our organization. This role focuses on driving AI adoption, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and fostering trust through responsible AI practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. AI Enablement:
o Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for AI integration that improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.
o Design and implement frameworks to facilitate the adoption of AI solutions across various departments.
o Provide technical and strategic guidance to ensure successful deployment of AI technologies.
2. Governance and Compliance:
o Develop and maintain AI governance policies that align with ethical standards, industry best practices, and legal regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
o Monitor AI system performance to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability in decision-making processes.
o Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to address potential biases, inaccuracies, or unintended consequences in AI systems.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Act as the liaison between technical teams, legal teams, and business units to ensure seamless communication and alignment on AI initiatives.
o Educate and train employees on responsible AI practices and organizational policies.
o Engage with external regulatory bodies, industry groups, and stakeholders to stay informed of emerging trends and standards in AI governance.
4. Data and Ethical Stewardship:
o Ensure the organization’s use of data for AI aligns with ethical principles and promotes inclusivity.
o Oversee data governance practices to support the development of robust, high-quality AI models.
o Advocate for transparency in AI system design and usage, enabling users to understand and trust AI outcomes.
5. Metrics and Reporting:
o Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and efficiency of AI systems.
o Create regular reports on AI initiatives, governance compliance, and risk mitigation strategies for senior leadership.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Experience:
o 5+ years of experience in AI development, governance, or related roles.
o Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools.
o Experience implementing governance frameworks or working within regulated environments.
· Skills:
o Expertise in AI ethics, data governance, and compliance.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
o Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing AI and data usage (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications in AI governance, data privacy, or ethical AI practices.
· Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the AI landscape.
· Experience in change management and cross-functional team leadership.

Additional Information
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $76,500.00 - $105,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
