<p><u><b>Job Description:</b></u></p>Provide network and systems administration for internal and external network and server environments including but not limited to planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all system hardware, software, and communication links.<p></p><p></p><ul><li>Analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the customer’s service level agreement (SLA).</li><li>Perform simple to moderately complex engineering support on a variety of technical projects of limited scope under minimal supervision and instruction.</li><li>Test, maintain, and monitor systems. Coordinate the installation of applications and systems.</li><li>Design, develop, support, and maintain the organizations systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware, software, and cloud-based services.</li><li>Conduct research on systems, network, and communication infrastructure to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.</li><li>Review and identify errors that may impact client operations, costs, or schedules.</li><li>Provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. Provide case status updates to management and end-users. Support and maintain effective relationships with users.</li><li>Assist in the design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging, and implementation of applications programs supporting the company infrastructure, business processes, operations, and/or network-based product systems.</li><li>Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.</li><li>Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.</li><li>Provide orientation and training to end-users for all modified and new systems.</li><li>Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position. </li></ul><p></p><h3>Education Required:  </h3><ul><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline. </li><li>Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.</li></ul><p></p><h3>Experience Required:</h3><ul><li>1+ years of experience in a Network/Systems Operations Engineer or Network/Systems Administrator role.</li><li>Experience in design, development, and implementation of systems and network operations and related products.</li><li>Experience working in Storage Area Networks (EMC, Dell, IBM), Firewall, Switch, Router, wireless, LAN, WAN, and server.</li><li>Experience in Virtualization (VMware and AWS) environments.</li><li>Directory Services – Microsoft Active Directory (Domain Services and Certificate Services), DNS and DHCP.</li><li>Systems Monitoring – SolarWinds Orion or equivalent.</li><li>Data Center Infrastructure – Environmental Controls, Power Delivery (Generator, UPS, Transfer Switches, etc.) and Access Control/Monitoring.</li></ul><h3><br />License/Certification Required:</h3><ul><li>Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).</li><li>Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).</li><li>Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).</li><li>Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certificates.</li></ul><p></p><h3>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of: Current software protocols, and internet standards, including TCP/UDP, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, LDAP, etc; AWS administration and implementation, including networking, VPCs, Route53, DirectConnect, S3 storage, and S2 instances; cloud-based Microsoft technologies, including Azure Active Directory, Office 365 administration, Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, SharePoint/OneDrive, and best security practices; application delivery systems (RemoteApps, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop); Visio, Office, and Solarwinds; operating systems, including VMWare ESX, Windows Servers, and Linux; data privacy practices and law.</li><li>Skill in: Working as member of a team; communicating effectively; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
