Page Six is seeking a seasoned Senior Reporter (M-F) with a proven track record of breaking exclusive stories to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in celebrity news with an extensive network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the entertainment landscape. This role demands creativity, initiative and the ability to deliver high-profile, exclusive content on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

● Regularly obtain exclusives and write daily breaking entertainment news stories

● Follow and report on high-profile court cases, ensuring accurate and timely updates

● Cultivate and maintain relationships with sources and reps

● Develop and pitch innovative story ideas that capture the interest of our audience and set us apart from competitors

● Conduct interviews with celebrities and film on-camera videos on trending news topics

● Represent Page Six at meetings and industry events

● Think strategically about the daily entertainment news cycle and contribute to ongoing coverage of trending stories

● Be an independent worker and self-starter and have the ability to think quick on their feet

● Expert in using traffic analytics (Google Analytics, Parse.ly, etc.) to help guide coverage and determine successes

● Ability to work with video, photo, and other departments seamlessly to better enhance daily news coverage

Qualifications:

● 7 to 10 years of experience working in a major breaking news organization

● Proven ability to break news and garner noteworthy exclusives

● Extensive knowledge of celebrities and entertainment with a robust network of contacts and sources

● Expertise in obtaining and interpreting court documents and following legal proceedings

● Exceptional writing and reporting skills with a strong ability to create engaging and accurate content under tight deadlines

● On-camera experience and proficiency in conducting interviews

● Strong news judgment and ability to craft enticing, SEO-optimized headlines

● Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced online news environment

● Ability to work a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility in covering live pop culture events (i.e. Oscars, Golden Globes, Super Bowl, etc.) and working outside traditional business hours when needed

Note: This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of being on-site in the New York metro area four days per week (subject to change). For candidates based in Los Angeles, the position is currently remote (also subject to change).

Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000
