Responsible for supporting electronic data exchange (EDI) clients to facilitate their billing and revenue collection Responsibilities<ul><li>Verify accuracy of billing data</li><li>Research and revise errors in claims processes.</li><li>Interact with stakeholders, payers and clients to answer questions, obtain information, and resolve issues.</li><li>Monitor clearinghouse reports and take such steps necessary to guarantee payment of claims.</li><li>Coordinate and collect necessary information from stakeholders and payers for claim adjudication.</li><li>Recognize problem accounts and notify others to assist in resolution.</li><li>Advise supervisor of insurance changes or trends</li><li>Expectations for regular interactions with clients via zoom calls.</li></ul> Qualifications Required<ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>At least 2 years of experience with billing software and/or experience billing from an Electronic Health Record System</li><li>The ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives</li><li>The ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills</li><li>Outstanding computer skills to include ability to work with .txt files and strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook</li><li>Outstanding attention to detail</li><li>Excellent time management skills</li><li>Highly motivated and self-starter.</li><li>Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Clearinghouse or EDI transaction files experience</li><li>Accounts receivable experience</li></ul>Netsmart is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals.
