If you are passionate about quality and want to help make an impact in our organisation then we have a perfect role for you!</span></div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Automation Framework Development</b>: Design, develop, and maintain reusable automation test scripts and frameworks for both web and mobile web using Java, Selenium, and Appium.</li><li><b>Test Script Execution</b>: Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues for continuous integration and testing cycles.</li><li><b>Test Case Automation</b>: Work closely with the QA team to convert manual test cases into automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.</li><li><b>Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing</b>: Implement automation for cross-browser testing (using Selenium) and cross-platform mobile browser testing (using Appium) to ensure compatibility across different environments and devices.</li><li><b>Continuous Integration</b>: Integrate automated test scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) to enable continuous testing in an agile environment.</li><li><b>Bug Reporting &amp; Documentation</b>: Log and track issues in a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA), providing clear and detailed reports on findings, along with test coverage metrics and areas of improvement.</li><li><b>Collaboration</b>: Collaborate with functional testers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and improve automation testing strategies.</li><li><b>Test Data Management</b>: Ensure the availability of appropriate test data for automated testing and manage test environments effectively.</li><li><b>Maintenance</b>: Continuously maintain and update automated test scripts to accommodate changes in application functionality and improve testing efficiency.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><b>Strong Programming Skills</b>: Proficient in <b>Java</b> with hands-on experience writing automated test scripts.</li><li><b>Automation Tools</b>: Expertise in using <b>Selenium</b> for web application automation and <b>Appium</b> for mobile application automation (Android/iOS).</li><li><b>Test Automation Frameworks</b>: Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber) for both web and mobile applications.</li><li><b>Continuous Integration</b>: Familiarity with CI/CD tools like <b>Jenkins</b>, <b>GitLab</b>, or similar for integrating automated tests into the development pipeline.</li><li><b>Version Control Systems</b>: Proficient in using <b>Git</b> for source code versioning and management.</li><li><b>Test Case Design</b>: Strong experience in creating and managing test cases, test plans, and related documentation.</li><li><b>Problem-Solving Skills</b>: Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for resolving issues during test automation execution.</li><li><b>Understanding of SDLC</b>: Knowledge of the <b>Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)</b>, particularly Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.</li></ul><h3>Desired Skills:</h3><ul><li><b>Mobile Testing</b>: Hands-on experience testing and automating applications on mobile browsers using <b>Appium</b><a href="http://Appium.Cloud">.</a></li><li><b>Cloud Testing</b>: Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack) for cross-browser and cross-device testing.</li><li><b>CI/CD Automation</b>: Ability to set up and maintain automation scripts in CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery.</li><li><b>Version Control Best Practices</b>: Strong knowledge of Git workflows, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in <b>Computer Science</b>, <b>Engineering</b>, or related field (or equivalent work experience).</li><li>5 years of hands-on experience in <b>test automation</b> using <b>Java</b>, <b>Selenium</b>, and <b>Appium</b>.</li></ul><h3>Benefits:</h3><ul><li>Opportunity to work with a talented team in an innovative and collaborative environment</li></ul><div>Netomi is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
