<div><strong><span>About this Position</span></strong></div><div><br /></div><div><span>The Sage X3 Functional Consultant’s (FC) role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information and operations systems in support of core organizational functions for Net at Work’s clients. Using both business and technical skills, the FC works directly with customers to identify business requirements with enough detail and clarity to allow technical solution proposal development. The FC will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. Additionally, the FC works with the sales team to develop and close service projects and maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and ease of ongoing support.     </span></div><p><br /><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><div><strong>SOW Activities and Delivery of Projects</strong>    </div><ul><li>Conduct analysis of client business processes and functional requirements.</li><li>Prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.</li><li>Analyze data, evaluate existing application products, and recommend efficient, cost-effective solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements.</li><li>Document functional requirements, workflow, and system specifications.</li><li>Become familiar with the functions of client’s key systems in order to easily identify integration points and make recommendations.</li><li>Delivery of all projects in a defined area; ensure projects are completed at or ahead of schedule, costs are managed to budget, and customer expectations are exceeded.</li><li>Ensure project deliverables meet and/or exceed client expectations.</li><li>Work with clients throughout system testing and product acceptance phases to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Manage and support relationships and configure solutions for existing clients. This includes handling questions, solving problems, writing reports, as well as ensuring the client’s general satisfaction with the software and the company.</li><li>Promote value billing and efficiency in service delivery.</li></ul><div><strong>Functional Product Expertise</strong>    </div><ul><li>Develop subject matter expertise on Sage X3.</li><li>Apply technical and business knowledge to analyze client requirements and match them to system functionality.</li><li>Perform gap analysis, identify options, and make recommendations on best methods to address gaps including customization, third-party products, process changes and/or other industry best practices.</li><li>Complete required training and development regarding product versions, updates, and changes within the assigned time frame.</li></ul><div> </div><div><strong>Industry and Best Practice Expertise</strong>    </div><ul><li>Develop technical and industry-specific knowledge on an ongoing basis and keep up to date with industry trends and the latest technology solutions.</li></ul><div><strong>Knowledge Share with Team and Clients</strong>    </div><ul><li>Interact with peers and managers to share knowledge, raise critical issues, and suggest process improvements.</li><li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with key client/partner/stakeholders to ensure effective communication channels exist and client/partner satisfaction is achieved.</li><li>Proactively seek/create opportunities to participate in client interactions to share knowledge and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are achieved.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, accounting or equivalent work experience required.</li><li>Advanced degree preferred.</li><li>5+ years of Sage X3 ERP implementation or implementation of similar ERP solutions (Epicor, Infor, Syspro, Chempax, Workday, ProcessPRO, MS Dynamics) or equivalent.</li><li>Must have experience implementing ERP solutions within Financials.</li><li>Experience working with work in progress and cost accounting for manufacturers; experience with inventory balancing for RNI and SNI requirements.</li><li>Bachelors degree, or equivalent, required.</li><li>A consulting background with a record of delivering complex software solutions within defined timeframes and budgets.</li><li>Strong business expertise, a keen understanding of business needs, and the ability to ensure technical solutions, strategies, and practices, and deliver business and customer value.</li><li>Ability to effectively document business and technical designs.</li><li>Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.</li><li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.</li><li>Strong relationship and social skills with the ability to build and manage a strategic external industry network.</li></ul><div><strong>This is a remote role that will require a minimum of 25% travel to client locations in the US.</strong></div><div><br /></div><p><strong>Core Competencies</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Organizational Planning: </strong>Plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner.
