<h1>Come Be Part of a Mission that Matters!</h1>The S&amp;OP Director will be responsible for leading and managing the Sales &amp; Operations Planning (S&amp;OP) process across key business units, ensuring the alignment of supply and demand to support Neogen’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sourcing &amp; Planning, this position plays a critical role in driving collaboration across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver accurate forecasting, optimized inventory, and effective capacity planning.This role follows a hybrid working model from Southfield, Michigan, combining in-office and remote work. We offer flexibility in scheduling to accommodate individual needs while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.<h3>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and facilitate the regional and executive monthly S&amp;OP process, driving alignment between commercial, planning, operations, and finance functions.</li><li>Translate strategic business objectives into actionable S&amp;OP plans that guide supply chain execution.</li><li>Own the demand planning and supply balancing process, identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities.</li><li>Manage and develop an S&amp;OP Analyst to ensure consistent process application across all business units.</li><li>Recommend and implement process improvements, tools, and reporting enhancements to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making.</li><li>Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align supply chain capabilities with business needs.</li><li>Develop and monitor KPIs related to forecast accuracy, service level, inventory health, and capacity utilization.</li><li>Participate in scenario planning, business reviews, and budget forecasting activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout all planning activities.</li></ul><h3>Education and Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or APICS/IBF certification preferred.</li><li>8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within S&amp;OP.</li><li>Proven track record in implementing and improving S&amp;OP processes in a complex, global organization.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with proficiency in planning tools (e.g., SAP, Solomon, PBI, John Galt) and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage change, drive collaboration, and deliver results within tight timelines.</li></ul><h3>Why Neogen?</h3>At Neogen, we work together to protect the global food supply chain — from farm to fork.
