Title: Events Manager, Corporate Marketing

  • Department: Corporate Marketing
  • Reports To: Director of Corporate Marketing
  • Type: Full-time
  • Title:  Events Manager, Corporate Marketing

About the Role:

We’re seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Event Manager to own the strategy, planning, and execution of third-party events and tradeshows. This individual will be responsible for managing 10+ global events annually, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring each event aligns with our brand, messaging, overall marketing objectives, and up-leveling our third-party event experiences.

The ideal candidate is not just a master of logistics—they are a marketing strategist with a background in the tech industry who understands how to elevate brand presence, drive business outcomes through impactful event experiences, and manage events from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan, manage, and execute 10+ third-party events and tradeshows annually—including all logistics, staffing coordination, ancillary activities, exhibit design, signage, agency management, lead management, and messaging.
  • Own end-to-end project management of events from planning through post-event analysis and lead clean-up/upload, balancing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Partner closely with regional teams and DevRel to align roles and responsibilities, prioritize overlapping demands, and ensure a cohesive execution strategy across geographies.
  • Act as a collaborative bridge across cross-functional teams including technical/product marketing, regional marketing, product management, procurement, finance, marketing ops, partner marketing, channels, and PR/analyst relations.
  • Provide a global point of view and demonstrate strategic decision-making that aligns with broader marketing goals and brand experience standards.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders at all phases—pre-event planning, real-time on-site coordination, and post-event debriefs.
  • Champion consistent brand presence by aligning event strategy and creative execution with corporate messaging and customer journey touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the social media team to drive engagement through content before, during, and after events.
  • Deliver detailed post-event reports featuring both quantitative metrics (attendance, booth traffic, leads, engagement) and qualitative feedback gathered through internal surveys and stakeholder input.
  • Support budgeting efforts including tracking expenditures, reconciling invoices, forecasting spend, and ensuring event delivery within budget parameters.
  • Contribute to ongoing event process improvement and toolkit development to scale efficiencies and support regional enablement.

Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably within the tech or B2B space.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead large-scale, multi-faceted events and tradeshows from concept to execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven success managing multiple, concurrent projects while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and brand storytelling through live experiences.
  • Collaborative and diplomatic communicator who can influence without authority and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude and a calm demeanor under pressure—able to “show up with a smile” and bring others along with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to shift gears quickly and prioritize in response to business needs.
  • Skilled in using project management and event tools like Asana; familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, or other marketing automation tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to support event execution.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate event effectiveness and turn insights into action.
  • Passionate about elevating the brand experience and delivering memorable, engaging events.
