This role combines hands-on Salesforce and Python development with strategic architecture decisions, requiring you to manage multiple client projects and serve as the technical expert when teams need senior leadership. You’ll collaborate on sales calls, document solutions for reuse, and drive customer success through your expertise in both nCino’s platform and financial services technology.  Essential Functions: <ul><li>Capability to apply abstract reuse patterns to integrations and code both on platform and elsewhere using one or more nCino supported languages</li><li>Ability to manipulate how Salesforce leverages, utilizes, and generates nCino supported languages</li><li>Provide technical assistance and leadership for medium to large financial institutions and Implementation Service Consultants when building integrations into the nCino/Force.com platform using the nCino Integration Framework.</li><li>Begin to co-lead integrations from third-party systems into the nCino platform using any number of technical solutions based on the desired and proper approach for each unique project.</li><li>Document process and procedure to help streamline integration methodology.</li><li>Build and document testing requirements for unique projects.</li><li>Provide solution and integration development with Salesforce.com including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing and deployment.</li><li>Evaluate vendor API and interface specifications.</li><li>Handle multiple projects effectively while continuing to deliver exceptional quality.</li><li>Work independently and prioritize time and projects appropriately.</li><li>Translate customer requirements into implementation plans.</li><li>Drive customer success with a team player attitude.</li><li>Design a salesforce solution that meets the needs of the customer.</li><li>Effectively track time and bill for hours worked on customer projects.</li><li>Assist sales and sales engineering on technical prospect calls when required.</li></ul>Qualifications: Required:<ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience/ proficiency with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s / Advanced degree; or equivalent work experience (as applicable). Some barriers to entry exist at this level, requiring department review.</li><li>Ability to design, build, articulate and defend architectural designs, primarily around integrations, but including some basic UI components and designs</li><li>Ability to support a dev ops process and build solutions with various software development practices</li><li>Able to apply engineering principles to code, flow, and integration patterns including on and off platform tools</li><li>Ability to document more complex solutions and customer facing documentation for work performed</li><li>Salesforce Dev401 certification</li><li>Strong research, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of data management, SQL and RDBMS technologies.</li><li>Experience using ETL/integration platforms</li><li>Financial Services experience.</li><li>Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services.</li><li>Exposure to Salesforce.com configuration and custom development.</li><li>Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, as well as prior work with object-oriented languages</li></ul>Desired: <ul><li>Large FI experience, particularly with the Loan Origination/Servicing Systems, Enterprise Architecture framework</li><li>Experience with Apex, SOQL, XML, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python.</li><li>Object-oriented languages such as Java, Ruby, C#, C++.</li><li>Salesforce System Architect.</li><li>ETL/integration platforms such as Cast Iron, Informatica, SnapLogic, etc.</li><li>Strong presentation and communication skills.</li><li>Strong customer and professional skills.</li><li>Position may require some travel</li></ul>  If you thrive in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment, we invite you to share your passion, ideas and excitement at nCino.  The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy.
