As an Sr Staff SAP Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in our SAP S/4HANA transformation by ensuring the efficient migration of master and transactional data. This is your opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and more.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the design and development of SAP Business Data Cloud/SAP Datasphere and SAP BW/4HANA solutions to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives.</li><li>Deliver and support analytical solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), HANA, HANA Cloud, and Datasphere.</li><li>Apply best-practice architecture and design principles to build scalable analytical data models.</li><li>Translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions.</li><li>Collaborate within agile teams, contributing development and analytical expertise.</li><li>Identify and resolve reporting content issues to enhance business value.</li><li>Drive improvements in data integrity, quality, and governance.</li><li>Build secure, compliant cloud analytics solutions aligned with data privacy standards.</li><li>Support management reporting and decision-making through robust data solutions.</li><li>Partner with Corporate Technology teams (BTP, Security, System Engineering) to implement best practices.</li><li>Maintain and update support and operations documentation.</li><li>Provide production support during critical periods (month-end, quarter-end, year-end).</li><li>Ensure consistency of master data across MDG and related systems.</li><li>Improve master data interfaces across SAP ECC, S/4, BW, BPC, and downstream systems.</li><li>Collaborate with product teams to resolve issues and foster strong working relationships.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of experience in data and BI development – (SAP BW,SAP BW/4 )</li><li>5+ years of BI modeling experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP Datasphere, including at least 3 full implementation cycles.</li><li>Deep knowledge of SAP BW, ECC, S/4HANA, and SAC data structures.</li><li>Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Technology Platform.</li><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.</li><li>Expertise in S/4HANA Analytics, CDS Views, SAP HANA Cloud, HANA 2.0, and BW/4HANA.</li><li>Proficiency in Graphical/SQL View modeling and complex dataflow design.</li><li>Python programming and familiarity with REST APIs.</li><li>Experience with mixed modeling (BW/4HANA and native HANA).</li><li>Knowledge of HANA 2.0 development (XSA, Node.js, ABAP) is a plus.</li><li>Integration experience with SAP and non-SAP data sources (federated and replication).</li><li>Familiarity with data catalog tools like Collibra.</li><li>Knowledge of Databricks</li><li>Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure).</li><li>Advanced skills in SAP Analytics Cloud, including predictive analytics and forecasting.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Characteristics:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience analyzing data flows across SAP BW, BPC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial and HCM analytics.</li><li>Excellent analytical and abstract thinking skills.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Passion for continuous learning and performance optimization.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Fully Remote: </strong>This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.</li></ul><p>This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
