The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.<h3>Job Description</h3>This audio-first AP role would contribute to podcasts including Dateline True Crime Weekly, “Talking Dateline”, “After The Verdict” (and other projects as needed/available)Responsibilities:<ul><li>Monitor breaking crime news and gather elements for coverage </li><li>Schedule guests and talent for remote interviews and tracking sessions</li><li>Research and tape segments for various Dateline podcasts</li><li>Factcheck podcast episodes</li><li>Assist in laying up edits in Descript and Pro Tools</li><li>Organize metadata, compile transcripts, and submit cue sheets</li><li>Take the lead on publishing episodes</li><li>Coordinate shipping and return of audio equipment to guests and talent  </li></ul>PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term position with an estimated duration of 24 months or less, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.<h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>1+ years of newsroom and reporting experience</li><li>Demonstrated experience in the AP role as part of a podcast team</li><li>Scrupulous attention to detail</li><li>Prompt and professional communication style</li><li>Experience using Descript and Pro Tools Software</li><li>Experience with <a href="http://riverside.fm/">Riverside.fm</a> is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with audio file types, fluency with methods of capture in-studio, in the field, and remotely </li><li>Video editing experience, a plus</li></ul>Additional Requirements:<ul><li>Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.</li></ul> What we’ll offer: Production Employee (PEP) Regular who works more than 1,000 hours per measurement period:  <ul><li>Eligible for 401K after 1,000 hours worked in 12 consecutive months  </li><li>Eligible for Health and Welfare benefits on 1st day of employment  </li><li>Eligible to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Program after 90 days of employment </li></ul>Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000<h3>Additional Information</h3>As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
