The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.<h3>Job Description</h3>We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Scrum to lead agile practices across our Platform Development and AI organization, with a strong focus on team coaching, process consistency, and cross-functional alignment.This role will oversee Scrum Leads across multiple squads, helping grow agile maturity while supporting effective prioritization, dependency mapping, and delivery coordination across product and engineering. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful facilitator and process architect, able to connect the dots across teams and drive clarity around execution, while also providing strategic support to the Platform Development leadership team in planning, communication, and operational cadence. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and coach a team of Scrum Leads across Platform Development and AI, fostering shared practices, growth, and community. </li><li>Drive consistent agile execution by guiding teams in selecting and applying the right methodologies, rituals, and tools for their maturity and needs. </li><li>Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to align priorities, shape delivery processes, and drive strategic planning and portfolio visibility across squads and programs. </li><li>Build frameworks for cross-team dependency mapping and resolution, enabling scalable, coordinated delivery. </li><li>Define and evolve agile operating models that balance consistency with team autonomy, promoting sustainable velocity and quality. </li><li>Establish baseline metrics across the product development lifecycle (PDLC) and support teams in using data to assess performance, surface risks, and drive continuous improvement. </li><li>Foster transparency through structured communication channels, surfacing updates, blockers, and decision points effectively. </li><li>Champion a culture of accountability, adaptability, and shared ownership across product, engineering, and delivery teams. </li><li>Provide strategic support to the VP of Platform Development through planning facilitation, communication alignment, and coordination of org-wide priorities. </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelors degree in software development, Engineering, or equivalent experience required     </li><li>5+ years experience as a Scrum Lead or part of a high-performing Scrum Team </li><li>3+ years experience managing a team (Scrum or otherwise)  </li><li>Demonstrated experience in agile technical project management and scrum development ceremonies/practices </li><li>Expert in JIRA/Confluence or GitHub Issues </li><li>Self-driven, detail-oriented leader who actively works to remove barriers to achieving results  </li><li>Experienced with leading projects in highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary development teams  </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical teams  </li><li>Track record of inspiring others &amp; positive change in technical project management, scrum, team management, and process improvement   </li><li>Comfortable working with all levels of the organization including senior executives </li></ul>Desired Characteristics:<ul><li>Knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc. </li><li>Experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) agile framework and preparing and executing work within a PI (Program Increment) </li><li>Know about the value of metrics and incremental delivery  </li><li>Ability to sell processes and frameworks to teams with which you do not have direct authority </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team </li></ul>Additional Requirements:<ul><li>Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.</li></ul>This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
