Together, we’re focused on getting customers to content they love, faster and easier. What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Support the full design process, from research to implementation, by understanding user needs, creating prototypes, testing designs, and collaborating with engineers to bring features to life.</li><li>Partner with senior and principal designers to elevate the content experience, contribute to new features, improve usability, and ensure a seamless user journey.</li><li>Receive mentorship and feedback while working with the broader Viewing Design team, helping you refine your craft and grow as a product designer.</li><li>Partner with product managers to align on goals for playback, sports, continuous discovery, ad experiences, and gaming.</li><li>Help shape the future of sports and playback across all platforms.</li><li>Optimize across multiple platforms, including TV, web, and mobile — leaning into the capabilities of each.</li><li>Own the end-to-end design process: from concept and wireframes to prototypes and final assets, complete with detailed documentation.</li><li>Collaborate with our design systems team to apply and evolve Peacock’s design language.</li><li>Work alongside data and research teams to inform and validate design decisions through discovery and user testing.</li><li>Partner with remote engineering teams to ensure feasibility, maintain usability, and support accurate implementation.</li><li>Advocate for design priorities within the product roadmap across apps, mobile, web, and partner platforms.</li><li>Contribute to a strong, inclusive design culture at Peacock.  </li></ul>What You Have:<ul><li>Aesthetic sense: An ability to design with taste, and iterate with data</li><li>Empathy: A drive to understand and speak for the user</li><li>Vision: An ability to simplify complex problems</li><li>Communication skills: An ability to build consensus but also respond to and give constructive, candid feedback</li><li>Detail oriented: The patience and curiosity to discover and defend the right solution, and iterate</li><li>Passion: An appreciation for design thinking/sprints and a love for creating usable, innovative products</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A strong portfolio reflecting your effective UX and UI decisions</li><li>Experience with visual design, interaction design, and strategic product thinking</li><li>3 or more years of experience in product design, preferably in consumer-facing content experiences</li><li>BA/BFA with a design focus</li><li>Fluency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Principle</li><li>Experience with user testing and the design validation process</li><li>Experience designing for multiple platforms, especially TV experiences, mobile, and desktop</li><li>Knowledge of additional platforms like Roku, Amazon Fire, Samsung, Xfinity X1, and voice-enabled devices a plus</li><li>Experience designing for accessibility and international audiences also a plus</li></ul> This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
