This role ensures seamless integration between Salesforce and enterprise systems while defining best practices and standards for development, deployment, and automation. This person leads a team of engineers, collaborates with government partners, and applies DevOps methodologies to streamline workflows. Ideology.</span></div><h3>What youll do</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with government partners and other technology leaders to architect and design scalable and high-performing Salesforce solutions that meet current and future business needs</li><li>Lead the architectural design of Salesforce implementations, ensuring best practices and technical excellence</li><li>Define and enforce governance policies, security best practices, and scalability principles</li><li>Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and enterprise systems via APIs, middleware (e.g., Mulesoft), and event-driven architectures</li><li>Provide guidance on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows</li><li>Review technical documentation, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality</li><li>Define best practices and standards for Salesforce development, integration, and deployment processes</li><li>Implement automation strategies, including CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and testing frameworks for Salesforce applications</li><li>Work in an agile manner to efficiently ship new features that meet user needs</li><li>Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and investigate issues when they occur</li><li>Take part in hiring activities (e.g., submitting referrals, conducting interviews, and attending interview debriefs), as neededCoach and mentor junior team members </li></ul><h3>Required skills</h3><ul><li>10+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions</li><li>Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows</li><li>Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Mulesoft, ETL tools, or event-driven architecture</li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Salesforce DX</li><li>Experience with one or more programming languages/frameworks outside of Salesforce (e.g., .NET, Python, Ruby on Rails)</li><li>Experience in cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)</li><li>Strong understanding of user interface design best practices for Salesforce applications</li><li>Demonstrated ability to think strategically around trade-offs and short-term vs. long-term benefits</li><li>Ability to define and enforce governance policies, security best practices, and scalability principles</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, technical and otherwise</li><li>Highly resourceful, reliable, and detail-oriented</li><li>Tenacity (CTA) (preferred) or Application/System Architect, Platform Developer II certifications</li><li>Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds (e.g., Government Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud)</li><li>Experience with Salesforce AI, Einstein Analytics, or Tableau CRM</li><li>Experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA, SOC 2) for government or highly regulated industries</li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce Governance and Center of Excellence (CoE) models</li><li>Experience leading a Salesforce technical team in an enterprise environment</li><li>Experience in owning a technical roadmap and evaluating emerging technologies</li><li>Experience working with large-scale data models and designing performant
