POSITION SUMMARY: Natera’s Organ Health laboratory genetic counselors serve as clinical liaisons to patients and providers regarding Natera’s test offerings. *Candidate must be located on the East Coast or be able to accommodate EDT hours. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul> <li>Provide pre- and/or post- test telephone genetic information sessions to patients who are considering or have had testing through Natera.</li> <li>Develop and maintain expertise in renal genetics knowledge relating to Natera’s Organ Health products.</li> <li>Obtain and maintain GC licensure in all states offering licensure.</li> <li>Answer health care provider inquiries regarding Natera’s Organ Health products.</li> <li>Review, finalize, and call out test results for Natera’s Organ Health products.</li> <li>Support Natera’s sales team by answering field questions.</li> <li>Assist in development of patient consents, GC protocols, SOPs, and patient education materials.</li> <li>Write or collaborate on abstracts or papers involving Natera tests.</li> <li>Represent company at trade shows and medical conferences; Deliver presentations at scientific meetings and company promotional events (&lt;10% travel).</li> <li>This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and has access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.</li> <li>Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS: <ul> <li>Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Genetic Counseling or equivalent degree</li> <li>Board-certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or the American Board of Medical Genetics</li> <li>Two or more years of clinical and/or laboratory GC experience </li> </ul> KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: <ul> <li>Renal, pediatric and/or adult genetic experience desired</li> <li>Multi-state licensure desired</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently AND collaborate with team members</li> <li>Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment</li> <li>Familiarity with Google and Microsoft suite of work products</li> </ul> #LI-AC2<div><div><div>The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years &amp; depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
