As Director of Marketing for Oncology (Pathology), youll take the reins of our Altera™ Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) marketing strategy — one of the most exciting parts of our oncology portfolio. Your work will help drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of Altera™ Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) and Signatera across the pathology and molecular diagnostics communities while shaping the future of our precision oncology offerings.</p> <p>This isn’t your average marketing gig — think of it more like a conductor leading a genomic symphony, aligning the instruments of science, strategy, and storytelling into one powerful performance.</p> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the strategic and tactical marketing efforts for Natera’s tissue-based solutions.</li> <li>Craft compelling campaigns and develop value propositions that engage pathologists and molecular pathologists — across digital channels, sales materials, congresses, and beyond.</li> <li>Partner with sales, medical, product, and UX teams to align on positioning, messaging, and user-centric approaches.</li> <li>Identify and build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in pathology and genomics.</li> <li>Track, analyze, and optimize marketing performance, closing the loop between market need and Nateras offerings.</li> <li>Serve as a cross-functional thought leader representing Altera and Signatera in portfolio-level initiatives and presenting to executive leadership.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in life sciences is preferred.</li> <li>8-10 years of experience in diagnostics, biotech, or pharma marketing — with a focus in oncology, genomics, or advanced diagnostics.</li> <li>Experience with comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) is strongly preferred.</li> <li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (think: advisory boards, major congresses, field team meetings, and customer engagements).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deep knowledge of the genomic profiling landscape and its clinical applications.</li> <li>Ability to transform complex science into crystal-clear, market-ready messaging.</li> <li>Excellent communicator and collaborator — capable of influencing across disciplines and levels.</li> <li>Strategic thinker with operational horsepower — able to lead, execute, and adjust in a dynamic environment.</li> <li>Comfortable leading external agencies, internal teams, and driving toward results.</li> <li>A customer-first mindset that balances commercial goals with empathy and education.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p><div><div><div>The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years &amp; depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
