<p>The Billing System Configuration Analyst supports Nateras insurance billing processes &amp; systems configuration. This high-growth role will collaborate with cross-functional resources such as Finance, IT, and Engineering on a number of process improvement initiatives, with a focus on enhancing &amp; automating key Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes, while also functioning as a key member of all reimbursement related functions.</p> <p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Configure and maintain billing system parameters (rules, logic, coding etc.) to ensure accurate and timely billing of products and services.</li> <li>Monitor and analyze current billing system processes &amp; performance to identify and correct errors.</li> <li>Implement strategies for continuous process &amp; quality improvements of billing system and ancillary applications.</li> <li>Update and maintain documentation of billing system configuration and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li> <li>Provide technical support to billing system users; troubleshooting complex problems and recommend solutions.</li> <li>Prepare timely updates and progress reports to management and other stakeholders.</li> <li>Collaborate with team members on billing processes to ensure the accurate and timely billing of products and services.</li> <li>Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to revenue cycle management and claims denial processes</li> <li>This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and has access to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.</li> <li>Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance and security no later than the first 30 days of hire.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR equivalent years of experience required.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience working in data analytics, information systems, health sciences, health insurance and/or healthcare billing.</li> <li>Must possess knowledge of, and experience with, healthcare service provider revenue cycle.</li> <li>Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification, a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated commitment, self-motivation, and a strong drive to succeed.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, competing deadline-driven environment.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets</li> <li>Basic proficiency with SQL to write queries.</li> <li>Experience with genetic testing or laboratory diagnostics, a plus.</li> <li>Experience with enterprise-level billing &amp; configuration systems, a plus.</li> <li>Experience with Patient Management (PM) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, a plus.</li> <li>Experience with Power BI and/or Snowflake, a plus.</li> <li>Experience in Jira and Confluence, a plus.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>#LI-AB1</p><div><div><div>The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years &amp; depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
