Position Overview: Natera is looking for an experienced and strategic Associate Director of Product Management to lead the development and commercialization of our Altera™ tumor genomic profiling product line. In this highly visible and dynamic role, you will drive the entire product lifecycle, from prioritizing new features and programs to developing a strategic roadmap and enhancing product performance. Your work will directly impact patient care by providing innovative oncology solutions to healthcare providers and stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring that our products deliver maximum value in the competitive oncology space. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy &amp; Roadmap Development <ul> <li>Develop and execute the product roadmap for the Altera tumor genomic profiling product line.</li> <li>Prioritize new features and initiatives, balancing customer needs and operational constraints.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Molecular Biology R&amp;D, Software Engineering, Sales &amp; Marketing, Clinical/Medical, Operations, Regulatory, and Business Development, to ensure successful product execution.</li> </ul> Product Performance &amp; Improvement <ul> <li>Oversee product performance, identify key metrics, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement strategies.</li> <li>Analyze performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement changes to improve product quality, efficiency, and market competitiveness.</li> </ul> Market Research &amp; Customer Insights <ul> <li>Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to inform product development and support growth.</li> <li>Leverage market insights to validate new features, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure product-market fit.</li> </ul> Business Case Development <ul> <li>Identify new business opportunities and create financial models to support product initiatives and strategic investments.</li> <li>Develop comprehensive business cases that align with company objectives and present data-driven strategies to senior leadership for alignment and buy-in.</li> </ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Communication <ul> <li>Collaborate with Marketing to define product positioning, develop market launch strategies, and create compelling marketing collateral.</li> <li>Communicate the product vision, progress, and roadmap updates regularly to internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensure seamless collaboration between departments to achieve business objectives.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields (Master’s or PhD preferred).</li> <li>10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in product management, product marketing, commercialization, or strategic consulting.</li> <li>Experience with oncology products, diagnostics, or medical devices, particularly in molecular testing or somatic biomarker testing, is strongly preferred.</li> <li>Proven track record of leading product management initiatives in the life sciences or biotech industry.</li> </ul> Skills &amp; Abilities: <ul> <li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.</li> <li>In-depth understanding of core technologies and the ability to translate customer needs into compelling value propositions.</li> <li>Exceptional project and process management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li> <li>Basic financial modeling skills and the ability to develop business cases are a plus.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership and drive cross-functional collaboration.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills for data-informed decision-making and identifying market opportunities.</li> </ul><div><div><div>The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years &amp; depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
