You will be instrumental in coaching, mentoring, and developing your team, ensuring they possess the technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and business acumen necessary to deliver exceptional value to our customers. You will work closely with sales leadership to align technical pre-sales strategies with overall revenue objectives.</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Sales Engineers</strong>, providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities with a strong focus on enhancing their product expertise, and ability to deliver impactful technical demonstrations.</li> <li><strong>Oversee the day-to-day activities</strong> of your team, ensuring effective allocation of resources and consistent delivery of high-quality technical support for commercial sales engagements.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate with Commercial Sales Managers</strong> to strategize on key accounts, identify customer pain points, and develop tailored technical solutions and demonstration plans.</li> <li><strong>Conduct regular one-on-ones and team meetings</strong> to foster a collaborative environment, share best practices, and address challenges.</li> <li><strong>Review and approve technical proposals, demonstrations, and presentations</strong> prepared by your team, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and impact.</li> <li><strong>Act as an escalation point</strong> for complex technical issues, providing guidance and support to your team.</li> <li><strong>Contribute to the ongoing development of training materials and programs</strong> for Sales Engineers, focusing on product knowledge, sales methodologies, and technical skills.</li> <li><strong>Participate in the recruitment and onboarding</strong> of new Sales Engineers, helping to build a strong and diverse team.</li> <li><strong>Monitor team performance metrics</strong> and identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What Were Looking For:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Minimum of <strong>2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role</strong> within a technical pre-sales or Sales Engineering capacity.</li> <li><strong>Bachelors Degree required</strong>, Bachelor’s of Science preferred.</li> <li>Proven experience as an <strong>individual contributing Sales Engineer</strong> with a strong track record of success.</li> <li>Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing talent.</li> <li>Strong understanding of commercial sales cycles and the role of pre-sales in accelerating deals.</li> <li>Familiarity with value selling concepts and methodologies.</li> <li>Strong technical aptitude with a practical experience of SaaS, hardware, IoT, and potentially AI/ML technologies.</li> <li>Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.</li> <li>Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li> <li>Knowledge of the Pakistani market and local business practices is a plus.</li> </ul> <h3> </h3> </div><div><p><em>Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motives core values.
