Reporting to the Senior Manager of Mid Market Sales Engineering, Sales Engineers partner closely with Account Executives to close new business with prospects — as well as with existing customers — through discovery calls, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and onsite meetings. This position has the opportunity to work with the most impactful companies in North America that power our physical economy.</span></p> <h3><strong>What Youll Do:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><span>Partner and strategize with Account Executives for discovery calls, product demonstrations, POC support and onsite meetings </span></li> <li><span>Will be capable of providing customized demonstrations of the Motive product offering to prospects spanning a multitude of roles</span></li> <li><span>Successfully match customer pains and requirements to proposed solutions</span></li> <li><span>Become an expert on Motive’s competition, lending your expertise to Emerging Mid Market AEs working on displacement deals</span></li> <li><span>Product expert, not only on Motive’s current offering but our roadmap as well</span></li> <li><span>Work with AEs to respond to RFIs and RFPs</span></li> <li><span>Sales liaison between multiple internal organizations, including; Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Product Marketing</span></li> </ul> <h3><strong>What Were Looking For:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><span>Minimum 3+ years working with strategic sales prospects in a pre-sales/sales engineering capacity (SaaS and Hardware experience is a plus)</span></li> <li><span>Bachelors Degree required, Bachelor’s of Science preferred, MS a plus</span></li> <li>French fluency a plus</li> <li><span>Experience in the Transportation &amp; Logistics industry is a plus</span></li> <li><span>Experience with APIs and integrations</span></li> <li><span>Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences alike</span></li> <li><span>Consistent track record selling complex solutions with the ability to navigate long, strategic sales cycles</span></li> <li><span>Proven analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve complex issues</span></li> </ul><div><div><div><p><strong><em>Pay Transparency</em></strong></p> <p><em>Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications.
