We are seeking an experienced product leader to join our AI Product team, where you will be owning a suite of integrated, intelligent safety solutions for drivers, fleets and partners. </p> <p>The role demands technical depth, principled thinking, a high bar for quality, structured communication, bold innovation, and a mentality of starting with the customer and working backwards. You will work alongside a star team from engineering, data science, computer vision, research &amp; design, marketing, operations, legal, sales &amp; customer success in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, technology environment to build intelligent experiences to shift behavior and drive ROI-positive impact for customers.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do: </strong></p> <ul> <li>As a Director of Product, you will play a leadership role in developing and implementing a strategic vision for Motive’s AI-powered safety products </li> <li>Conduct market research, analyze competitor landscapes, and stay ahead of industry trends to maintain Motives competitive edge in AI-driven safety solutions.</li> <li>Spearhead the development and launch of cutting-edge AI features, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance</li> <li>Partner closely with engineering, data science, and computer vision teams to navigate technical complexities and deliver exceptional product outcomes.</li> <li>Deeply understand customer needs and pain points, translating them into innovative solutions that maximize the impact of Motives safety products.</li> <li>Be bold and strategic in identifying product improvements and new growth opportunities</li> <li>Partner closely with our Sales team to engage on critical strategic accounts and trials</li> <li>Strive in a player/coach role and mentor a high-performing team to deliver exceptional product outcomes while rolling up your sleeves and maintaining a hands-on approach to project execution</li> <li>Demonstrate proficiency in navigating the technical complexities of the product, spanning software, hardware, AI, and data domains</li> <li>Work closely with other product managers, within and outside of Safety, to develop and implement the product strategy</li> <li>Collaborate with GTM teams to develop sales strategies and marketing campaigns</li> <li>Analyze performance metrics to measure the success of product launches</li> <li>Actively contribute to an amazing work culture</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For: </strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ years of Product Management experience, with proven experience in launching and scaling commercially successful software products in a B2B SaaS environment</li> <li>Hands-on product management experience in a complex technical environment involving IoT, AI/ML, and an integrated hardware and software stack</li> <li>Proven track record in developing and scaling products that specifically utilize computer vision and machine learning</li> <li>High customer empathy, with a desire to get in the shoes of our customers</li> <li>Be data-driven; you regularly seek out and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and opinions</li> <li>You are comfortable and confident sharing your thoughts in verbal or written form. You can engage constructively in debate and discussion with different personality types and seniority levels.</li> <li>You are a trailblazer who is humble, kind, and open to learning new stuff. You can take a stand yet commit even when you disagree. You have a strong bias to action (aka hustle) and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.</li> <li>Have enough technical knowledge to gain the respect of engineers</li> <li>Experience working effectively with remote/offshore teams</li> </ul><div><div><div><p><em><span><strong>Pay Transparency</strong><br />Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units.
