This advanced role is ideal for a sales leader with a proven track record of exceeding quotas in SaaS, data, or market research environments, and who thrives in dynamic, ambiguous situations requiring creative solutions.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>As a senior member of our SaaS Sales team, you will independently own and drive the full sales cycle for our most strategic opportunities, leveraging your expertise to influence key decision-makers and shape the future of our client relationships. You will also play a critical role in mentoring and developing less experienced team members, contributing to the overall success and culture of the team.</span></div><h3>What Youll Be Working On: </h3><ul><li>Lead complex, high-value sales cycles with minimal oversight, including advanced Qualification, Discovery, and deal structuring for enterprise clients.</li><li>Develop and execute creative strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing relationships, often in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments.</li><li>Own top-of-funnel and full-cycle sales activities—from prospecting and outreach to closing—while setting the standard for best practices and innovative approaches.</li><li>Deliver compelling, customized platform demonstrations and thought leadership to C-level and executive stakeholders, leveraging deep product and industry knowledge.</li><li>Analyze complex client needs and market data to craft tailored solutions and proposals that align with both client objectives and Morning Consult’s strategic goals.</li><li>Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and providing insights to inform business strategy.</li><li>Mentor and coach team members, sharing expertise, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.</li><li>Contribute to the development of sales methodologies and processes, helping to shape the future of the Business Development team.</li><li>Represent Morning Consult externally as a subject matter expert, building relationships with key industry leaders and partners.</li><li>Continuously improve through feedback and proactively share actionable insights to drive team and organizational improvement.</li><li>Perform other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company’s discretion.</li></ul><h3>About You and What Youve Done:</h3><ul><li>8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong record of closing complex deals in SaaS, data, or market research environments.</li><li>BS/BA or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close high-value, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.</li><li>Deep intellectual curiosity and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of marketing, communications, data, or brand strategy.</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive and C-level audiences.</li><li>Familiarity with survey research and its methods (highly valued, but not required).</li><li>Proven ability to mentor, coach, and elevate team performance.</li><li>Experience contributing to the development of sales processes, methodologies, or best practices.</li><li>Commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.</li></ul><div><i><b>Note:</b> We view the above section as a guide, not a checklist.
