The newsletter will combine original reporting and aggregation to help readers make better decisions and understand the rapidly changing world around them.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>Morning Brew Inc is the most engaging business media company in the world with over 20 owned and operated multimedia brands reaching a monthly audience of 350 Million+ cross platform with a focus on both consumer and professional content. We have been building our brand umbrella and product suite out for years, and now have a hugely diverse and successful products suite across newsletter, onsite, live and virtual events, podcast, video, creator and social. </span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>Our positions are remote hybrid; however, we have a strong preference for employees who can work from our Morning Brew HQ in NYC.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON</b></div><div><span>- Write stories and other associated content for the Daily Tech Brew newsletter.</span></div><div><span>- Generate ideas for new newsletter initiatives.</span></div><div><span>- Pitch and develop story ideas aligned with Tech Brew’s editorial goals.</span></div><div><span>- Conduct research, interviews, and reporting to produce original content when needed.</span></div><div><span>- Work collaboratively with editors, copy editors, and other team members to maintain Morning Brew’s editorial standards and voice.</span></div><div><span>- Optimize content for email and other platforms to increase engagement with our audience.</span></div><div><span>- Support optimization of existing content processes and establish new ones where needed.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><div><span>- Deep interest and expertise in tech news writing (bonus points for newsletter experience) and digital media.</span></div><div><span>- Preferred 2–3 years of professional writing experience OR 2–3 years of post-graduate experience working in or around business or tech news, with demonstrable content-creation experience (blog posts, research, presentations, etc.).</span></div><div><span>- Ability to write in Morning Brew’s style (engaging, informative, clever).</span></div><div><span>- Self-starter attitude with the ability to operate in a collaborative environment.</span></div><div><span>- Combination of attention to detail and creative, strategic thinking.</span></div><div><span>- Ability to operate in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>COMPENSATION: </b><span>$80,000-$85,000 </span><i>*Final offers for this job will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided, commensurate with experience.
