You know how to translate client objectives and messaging into creative concepts that seamlessly align with MBI’s brand pillars and deeply resonate with our audience. You’re just as comfortable pitching bold ideas as you are backing them up with data, insights, and a fully fleshed-out campaign strategy.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>This position will report to the Director of Creative Strategy.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON</b></div><div><span>- Developing innovative, insight-driven solutions to client challenges and creating impactful proposals that align with the MBI ecosystem, while meeting client goals and KPIs through compelling storytelling across newsletters, social video, editorial, podcasts, events, and more.</span></div><div><span>- Collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Account Management, Events, Editorial, Insights &amp; Analytics, etc.) to develop pitches that maximize our chances of winning.</span></div><div><span>- You’ll serve as a mentor and to junior strategists, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them sharpen their skills and develop strategic thinking while simultaneously playing a key role in elevating the overall creative bar across the team.</span></div><div><span>- Participating in client meetings as the leading creative voice, presenting ideas with clarity and confidence, guiding creative conversations, and building trust with senior-level marketers. </span></div><div><span>-Serving as the liaison for one or more multimedia franchises, working closely with producers and creators to uncover storytelling opportunities that align with client interests. </span></div><div><span>- Leading dynamic, well-structured brainstorms and cross-functional meetings that bring out the best ideas from across teams and disciplines. You’ll be responsible for creating an inclusive environment where all voices are heard, ensuring sessions are productive, focused, and engaging. Beyond idea generation, you’ll translate these outputs into actionable next steps, aligning partners and driving momentum toward standout creative solutions. </span></div><div><span>- Partnering with Account Management to analyze campaign performance and translate insights into strategic solutions that expand partners into new formats, drive retention, deepen relationships, and fuel year-over-year growth.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><div><span>- Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of skills, training and experience.</span></div><div><span>- 6+ years of pre-sale experience at a digital publisher or agency, with extensive B2B expertise–crafting decks and narratives for RFP responses and proactive pitches. (Bonus points if you have experience development campaigns specifically focused on business decision-makers, enterprise audiences, and/or niche professional verticals.)</span></div><div><span>- Strong foundation in brand strategy and creative thinking, with the ability to translate client objectives into compelling narratives that align with MBI’s brand pillars and audience. Adept at leveraging market research, campaign performance data, and audience insights to inform and refine creative strategy, ensuring ideas are both resonant and results-driven.</span></div><div><span>- Proven people management experience and a collaborative leadership style that fosters cross-functional alignment.</span></div><div><span>- Outstanding communication, collaboration and organizational skills, paired with an impeccable eye for detail and identifying creative opportunities. </span></div><div><span>- Ability to present ideas with confidence to senior-level marketers, articulating the strategy behind your work, and skillfully synthesizing feedback to refine and tailor media strategies.</span></div><div><span>- Journalist-worthy writing and editing skills.
