As part of the Resilience Testing & Exercise Programs global remit and increased regulatory commitments, this role will include support of a global team in development of full offering of operations and discussion-based exercises and contribution to the integration efforts across the functions. The Fusion Exercise Manager will be a critical role for regulatory obligations as well as driving global firmwide commitments. Responsibilities include ownership and delivering strategic and tactical exercises to assess and improve the organizations ability to respond to and recover from operational events including cyber, technology and business continuity threats.

The individual will also be responsible for understanding developments in regulations and the Firms business structure to develop a meaningful portfolio of exercises to be delivered across the Firm. This individual will also be partly responsible for logistics coordination, metric collection and tracking of annual program progress for the Fusion Exercise Program. Other duties include gathering evidence critical to time sensitive regulatory requests and development of material to communicate the programs impact. A successful candidate should have a solid foundation of exercise planning and facilitation, be comfortable discussing a wide variety of technologies, and have a willingness to learn.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Lead components of the integration of the Fusion Exercise Program into Testing capabilities to include planning, milestone delivery and improvement activities. 
  • Delivery of a program of exercises covering tabletop, drills, and functional exercise types.
  • Collaborate with teams across Technology and business areas to:
    •  Develop exercises to assess Firm processes and functions to manage operational threats and incidents.
    • Orchestrate the Firms involvement in vendor-facilitated, and sector-wide exercises that assess the effectiveness of the Firms response processes.
  • Develop and track program key performance indicators, including actions resulting from exercises. 
  • Develop documentation to enhance the organizations ability to deliver exercise services at scale. 
  • Engage and train stakeholders across the Firm regarding exercise development, planning and facilitation procedures.

Skills Required: 

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a Cyber, Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery related role.
  • Experience in the planning and facilitation of operational exercises within a large organization. 
  •  Ability to rapidly absorb information to gather an understanding of how a system, process, or business function works. 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) with the ability to convey outcomes to a wide audience at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong initiative and a proactive attitude in approach to work. 
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines.
  • Capable of synthesizing multiple asks and timelines into holistic, clearly defined milestones and deliverables within a dynamic environment. 
  • Ability to identify and highlight gaps in their own knowledge and proactively seek out the information required. 
  • Capable of managing through influence across multiple groups including both technology and business stakeholders.

Skills Desired: 

  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Jive, and metrics development.
  • Experience managing real life incidents (either/or technology, cyber, business continuity). 
  • Project management, DR, BCP or Information Security certifications preferred.
  • Experience in the Financial Services sector. 
  • Experience working for a globally distributed organization. 
  • Understanding of existing and emerging finance industry regulatory requirements related to business continuity, disaster recovery and operational resilience.

) Salary range for the position: $85,000 - $150,000 / Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
