Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you’ll do in the role:The primary responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following: • Project execution role for PWM Asia Credit whereby demonstrating sound understanding of the business requirements and collaborating with IT to develop the various system enhancements which help in efficient risk management. • Effectively communicating with IT by providing clear specifications and testing the various system rollouts • Taking ownership of the projects and providing regular updates to management • Provide impact analysis to business and ensuring completion of projects within agreed timeline • Provide analytical support for complex derivative products across wealth management platforms • Liaise with global credit and risk team members on tasks involving credit portfolio management, stress testing, data quality management, credit reporting and other ad hoc tasks • Ensure accuracy of risk data, resolving data attribute issues with regards to collateral and traded productsWhat you’ll bring to the role:Skills required • Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to build solid relationships with global, regional and local stakeholders • Proven project management experience to drive initiatives and take them to logical conclusion • Strong team player and at the same time takes ownership to drive strategic objectives • Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with relentless attention to detail and an inquisitive nature • Possess strong problem identification and solution techniques • Good collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment Qualifications/Criterion • Bachelor’s Degree required, Level 1/2 - CFA/FRM cleared candidate is an added advantage • 4 years plus of previous experience in Risk Management related projects or experience in handing projects • Excel VBA, SQL and PowerBI experience is preferred or a strong willingness to develop these are a clear requirement • Proficient with Microsoft Office package, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint • Well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
