The department also assigns Internal Credit Ratings; establishes and manages credit risk limits in accordance with the risk tolerance established by the Board; monitors and reports on credit risk exposures on a regular basis to the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Credit Officer and senior management. CRM also interacts with the business unit to ensure that credit risk assessments are factored into business decisions.The CRM Reporting team is responsible for developing and maintaining the credit risk datasets and reporting framework. The team collaborates with partners across the globe from many different business and technology groups. We are creating curated data marts. We use PowerBI, Excel, Power Point for reporting purposes and SQL for working with data.We seek an Associate to join the CRM Reporting Team in Budapest, responsible for creating and maintaining Credit Risk datasets, rules and workflows. What youll do: -Support our data and report modernization efforts by analyzing current reports and SQL logic to provide detailed dataset requirements -Work with technology on database design, data onboarding, testing and rollout -Work with data consumers to provide the required datasets for the department -Maintain Credit Risk datasets in our dataset assembly tool -Escalate data issues to the Data Control team and Credit Risk Agile IT squads and assist with the remediation of data problemsWhat youll have: -4+ years of experience in business and/or data analysis role at Financial Services, Consulting, Accounting or Corporate Finance Firms -Understanding complex relational databases / SQL, including joins, keys and relationships, ETL -Experience with maintaining logical and physical data models -Deep understanding of data management principles -Experience with building curated data pipelines -Strong knowledge of reporting standards and control frameworks -Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to challenge the status quo -Well organized and able to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail -Bachelors degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering related areasYou might also have:-Experience with business intelligence software (Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, etc.) -Understanding of Credit Risk, lending and/or traded products -Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or RMorgan Stanley Budapest is an integral part of the Firm’s global critical business functions including Technology, Finance, Risk, Institutional Securities and Wealth Management.
