Our individual impact and output is what counts most.About the roleMoneyfarm is looking to reinforce its growing FP&amp;A team with an FP&amp;A Analyst who will be actively involved in shaping the direction of Finance at Moneyfarm. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Finance team, supporting the Head of FP&amp;A and liaising with numerous departments outside of Finance. This role involves maintaining FP&amp;A models, supporting the forecast process and providing crucial financial insights to the Commercial team. Main Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Assist in the preparation of the annual Budget and Business Plan</li> <li>Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and strategic decision-making</li> <li>Deliver deep-dive analyses on business performance, identifying and interpreting key trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable recommendations</li> <li>Act as a strategic finance partner to commercial teams, providing data-driven insights to support new initiatives and drive profitable growth</li> </ul><ul> <li>Proactively identify and lead initiatives to improve processes, automate tasks, and implement new systems to scale the Finance function effectively</li> <li>Support monthly closing activities by providing sharp, insightful analysis and commentary for the management reporting package</li> </ul>Essential:<ul> <li>A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field</li> <li>3-6 years of experience in FP&amp;A, M&amp;A or Corporate Development</li> <li>Strategic thinking with strong attention to detail</li> <li>Strong financial and analytical modelling skills with proven ability to develop complex models</li> <li>Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with fluency in both spoken and written English.</li> <li>Confidence and experience in presenting complex financial analyses to senior management and executive leadership</li> <li>A proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced and tech-centric environment</li> </ul>Desirable:<ul> <li>Previous experience within a “Big 4” accounting firm or in an M&amp;A-focused role </li> <li>Previous experience in the FinTech or financial services industry</li> <li>Working knowledge of SQL</li> </ul>
